Yoga


Yoga is a type of exercise or movement which promotes flexibility with functional movements.
The ability to maintain flexibility within your musculoskeletal system has been shown to help recovery from injury and prevention of further issues.

A Yoga instructor will navigate you through different poses in order to sequentially improve your movement. This added with breath work provides a deep and through workout for your whole body and mind.

What to expect during a lesson:

During your 1:1 lesson your yoga instructor will assess your movement and discuss with you, and any referring practitioner, the areas which are highlighted for work.
you will then be guided through your yoga practice with exercises altered and tailored to your ability.
Repeated lessons will reward you with better understanding of your body, past injuries and restrictions in movement and will also allow you to gently and effectively release an blocks which stiff muscles and joints may be maintaining.
