The practice is open on Tuesday 9.30am-2pm, Wednesday 12-7pm, Thursday 8.30am-1pm and Friday 9am-5pm.

Initial consultation last up to 1 hour and follow-up treatments last 30 minutes. This is the same for animal treatments.
We have parking for 4 cars right outside our practice. Please park sensibly. Parking is at your own risk.
The most common side effects of osteopathy are 24-48 hours of soreness, tiredness and an increase in thirst.
There are other more specific reactions to some techniques but these will be discussed with you if the techniques are deemed suitable and necessary.
We are all manual therapists but have differnet techniques and philosophies.
Generally speaking Physiotherapists treat the symptoms, Chiropractors treat the spine and the area of the spine which effacts the region of discomfort and Osteopaths generally treat the symtoms and the underlying cause of the problem.
There is however, a massive cross-over and many practitioners, even within the same field, treat differently. It is important to find a practitioner and practice who you trust and get on with.
Our type of osteopathy is structural and cranial. This means we aim to create symmetry in the joints and muscles. This can be acheived by using joint and muscle mobilisations, manipulations and gentle assisted movement techniques.
This will depend on how long you have had the complaint and what the complaint is.
Most people get a change in symptoms in 2-3 treatments. At this point, your treatment and management can be discussed and more information can be given.
